Repetition - The action of repeating something that has already been said or written
Card Stacking - Seeks to manipulate audience perception of an issue by emphasizing one side and repressing another.
Plain Folks - Argument in which the speaker presents him or herself as an Average Joe, a common person who can understand and empathize with a listener's concerns.
Glittering Generalities - An emotionally appealing phrase so closely associated with highly valued concepts and beliefs that it carries conviction without supporting information or reason.
Transfer - Good feelings, looks, or ideas transferred to the person for whom the product is intended.
Testimonial - An important person or famous figure endorses a product.
Fear - A fallacy in which a person attempts to create support for an idea by using deception in attempts to increase fear and prejudice toward a competitor.
Name Calling - Saying bad things about your competitor.
Band Wagon - A particular activity or cause that has suddenly become fashionable or popular.
